Juniperus Communis
Junipers belong to the cypress family. These evergreen resinous shrubs are characterized by the fact that they simultaneously bear small green or bluish berries. We extract from the juniper mainly its berries, but also the wood and the ends of the branches. It is found throughout France, in the moors, clearings, pastures and up to the high mountains. It is found in most of the northern hemisphere. Its tangy and resinous aromas bring its organoleptic signature to the Gin.
