Natural colour.
Very aromatic, the genepi noir (artemisia genipi Weber) grows at high altitude, from 2000m. Each plant only has five or six flowers, compared to nearly thirty for the yellow genepi. Its rarity and low yield explain why it is practically no longer used in the production of herbal liqueurs.
Intense, brilliant amber color with dark green reflections.
Powerful, sustained and open that evokes a herbaceous universe where we find notes of dried herbs and liquorice.
Round and ample, with a nice balance between the floral and herbaceous aromas of the genepi and pastry notes that evoke honey and buttered biscuits. We find finely spiced notes before a long and intense finish.
In a wine glass, slightly chilled (12 to 14°).
